Continued working for 5 days after CPT end date.

Hi All, Last year my h1 didnt picked in the lottery, so i joined in a university for my 2nd masters, and working on CPT from Jan 2014, any this year my h1 picked inthe lottery and got approved with out any RFE.

 

Worked on Spring and Summer CPT sucessfully, My Summer CPT ends on Aug 24th, So applied for FALL trimester CPT, but it got delayed and approved on 1st Sept.

 

After Aug24th my CPT work authorization will end, but my employer ran my paycheque for that complete month.

 

 

Will it cause any issue, if yes how can i resolve it?

The abuse of CPT will come back to bite you in the future, even if you got the H1 approved this time.

And that abuse is not about the 5 days, that just exacerbates it. The whole enrolling in a fraud university which "offers" CPT shows the fraud.

No real university offers CPT from day one.

When will people learn that abusing CPT will cost them dearly???

If your CPT is legitimate then there is nothing to worry. Talk to a good attorney.

Issues?? Do you know why students were arrested and deported few years ago. Working full time in CPT is nothing but violating F1 rules. This will kill your career and in your case it will.

 

Only god has to help you now. What kind of F1 course will allow you to work in CPT for 9 months continuously??

You are good as long as the extension cpt i20 has, date from as your initial cpt start date and date end as new cpt end date.

But as Joef and Rahul said, you are risking your stay in the states by joining such universities.
