neharddy
Hi, I have my visa appointment on Oct 22nd, my Client letter end date is Nov 30th. I have been with this client since 1 & à half yrs and my contract is extended every 6 months and I am sure it will get extended after Nov too. Will it be an issue if I take à letter with Nov 30th as end date?? Please do let me know. Thank You, Neha Link to comment
jairichi
Should not be an issue but be prepared to get a H1B visa with validity date till Nov 30th. Link to comment
itsmeusa
VO may give you visa until Nov 30th only. Please have your client include verbiage that - "You would be required on a project for extended period of time. This statement is merely a intent and not a binding contract. " Link to comment
omshiv
No issues...but carry some docs which would show that this proj gets extended. Link to comment
Vinayprirajin84
Just ask client to give you letter. And dont mention the end date.. if they do want to mention end date. try to put the meaning which says with possibility or with extension after this kind of meaning. . If not dont mention and try to get a letter in generic manner saying that they dont forsee any end date. something like that.. Link to comment
Mr.
Ask to mention "This project is expected to last to at least November 2014, with expected extensions if necessary." Good luck! Link to comment
neharddy
They are not ready to give a letter with no end date, they say its against their company policies. But they have this statement in my letter "Should the parties wish to extend the relationship they may do so via an amendment to the agreement between XXX and YYY". Should this be enough or even after this I will get only til Nov 30th? Link to comment
Vinayprirajin84
Dont worry about anything Neha... This statement will cover everything.. But they have this statement in my letter "Should the parties wish to extend the relationship they may do so via an amendment to the agreement between XXX and YYY". Link to comment
