Is a F1 CPT student eligible to apply for EB2?

I am doing a full time job right now under CPT. My employer will file H1 for me next year. But since CPT is part of my graduation program so logically I can't apply in the masters category. As a result I am guessing there is a very less probability for me to get it through applying in the general category. So I am thinking about EB2. FYI I had 6 years of relevant working experience in the same field I am doing my graduation and I fall under ROW. I followed one thread here discussing about "F1 to GC", but it didn't reach into any conclusion. So am I eligible to apply for EB2? If I am, then what would be the pros and cons? It would be a great help if you can suggest me some option as well.

Forget about your GC and H1.

Is your CPT part of your F1 program?? After reading your post, I don't think it is bcos your CPT and H1 jobs will be one and same, right?
