h1b extension - perm under processing more than 365 days

Hello Experts,

 

Employer planning to apply for h1b extension as perm was under processing for more than 365 days. so, while applying for one year extension,  can I add unused h1b period(about 5 months) and request extension for 1.5 years? 

 

Has anybody done this? how are likely are chances to get it approved for 1.5 years??
