satya.sam2
I need some advice to know whether is it required to mention Police Arrest Record during H1B Transfer (or H1B extension) PETITION Filing? Not sure, we require to mention the Police Arrest Record in H1B PETITION EXTENSION ( or H1B PETITION TRANSFER) during once stay in USA. But, I learn that it is required to mention Police Arrest Record during H1B VISA(DS160) Stamping in my native/another country. Link to comment
omshiv
TRUTH should be mentioned. Link to comment

As you said, it has to be mentioned during stamping. Link to comment
itsmeusa
Wherever be the police arrest record, make sure that the case that warranted police arrest is now closed / dropped etc. It should not be open when you go for visa stamping. And yes, mention this on the form if asked. Link to comment
satya.sam2
Thanks all for your info and advice. Hi itsmeusa, could you please let me know- is there any chance the police arrest/case can be re-opened once the court certified disposition issued (case closed). I make sure I wont travel outside country, when the case is open. Link to comment
itsmeusa
Well - I am not the expert on the criminal law, however, in rare occasion if the party who filed complaint is not satisfied with the court ruling, I think, s/he could request higher court to reconsider lower court's disposition. If higher court makes the ruling in her/his favor and orders the case to be re-opened, yes, the case would re-open. Link to comment
