apple19
Hello experts, I am a 2nd year MBA student at a 'State' university (F1). This summer I had to do a mandatory internship as a part of the curriculum through CPT. I extended my internship (CPT) for the Fall semester also (it's not part of the curriculum) with the approval of our DSO. Is this OK? Also, what if I can't continue my internship due to personal reasons? Is this OK? Thanks in advance for your responses. Link to comment
JoeF
Summer internships are generally done with pre-completion OPT. Using CPT for that is rather unusual. CPT is ONLY for work as integral part of the curriculum. You can NOT work with that CPT during Fall semester if it isn't a part of the curriculum. Link to comment
jairichi
Whenever CPT is involved talk to a good attorney other than your DSO. Link to comment
