avmi Posted September 17, 2014 Report Share Posted September 17, 2014 Hi, I had applied for my husband's H1B this year and later applied for his H4 in May 2014 for his visit before October. The H4 was approved in May, valid until Oct 2015. His H1B was approved on June 15. Will this H4 affect his H1B petition validity by any means? He was in the US on H4 in Jul-Aug is now back in India. Please explain how the last action rule will apply. Is the H1B petition approval still valid come Oct or H4 overrides it? Link to comment
