obead70
Hi, My educational background is a Bachelors and Masters in Civil Engineering but I work as an IT consultant. Is there any one with similar background (NOT IT major and an IT job) share their recent experience of visa stamping? My H1b was approved this year, 2014. I am planning to go for stamping in Mid Oct 2014. I am working with the current client for almost 13 months and current employer for 8 months. Any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment

ravikishore
Hi Obeda70. I am in a similar situation as you were. I am a civil engineer working for ITconsulting company, I am applying for my H1. What is the name of the role that I need to keep (For example : System analyst, system Engineer etc )while applying. Also, what proofs have you shown to support that your job is directly related to area of study. I will be applying for H1 this year and I am a bit nervous. Can you please help me ?
