H4 Extension Approved but not H1B Extension

Hi

 

1. Me and my dependant applied for H1B and H4 extenson on may 2014. the dependant petition was approved 24 days back but the H1B was still in Initital Review. What should I do now.?? Kindly Advice.

 

2. During H1B extension, Can i switch the company?? i94 is expired as of now. Kindly adivce.

1. You can do nothing other than wait.

2. Yes, it will be considered as bridge petition.

You could opt for premium processing and get the results in 15 days. I would not suggest jumping hoops.

My i94 expired and visa stamp duration expired but my i797 B date is not expired. Below are the details. in these case can i switch the company without any issue?

 

VISA stamp expiry date: 30 MAY 2014

 

i94 Expiry date : 30 MAY 2014

 

i797 Expiry date : 30 SEP 2014

Your I94 has expired and current employer has filed for extension. In this case new employer's H1B petition will be a bridge petition.
