communicator Posted September 2, 2014 Report Share Posted September 2, 2014 My employment with first employer ended on December 3rd 2013 while on H1B.While H1B petetion with 2nd employer approved on 20th December 2013. When I filed for my PERM with DOL it was shown as my employment end date with first employer shown as December 3rd 2013 and start date with 2nd employers was shown as 20th December 2013. Does this gap in employment cause any issue. I am not laid off. I myself moved to another employer. Does this trigger any audit with DOL asking for reason of gap between employments or is it considered as out of status? But my H1B with first employer revoked in March 2014. Link to comment
