Travel to home country with approved H1B (new employer)

Hi,

 

Here is my situation:

• Came to the US in 2011, on L1B, for a leading MNC in India
• My L1B visa is expiring on 4th Sep 2014, but my I-94 (associated with the L1B) is valid till Nov 2015
• A new employer (small consultancy) filed for my H1B in April 2014 and it is approved (received both I797 and a new I-94)
• I am planning to resign from my current employer by 15th Sep 2014 and travel to my home country India, and return back on 1st Oct 2014

 

My questions:

1. Can I go for stamping in my home country India before 1st Oct 2014?
2. Do I need to be concerned about H1B stamping as I do not have any paystubs from the new employer yet?
3. This will be my first H1B stamping in my home country India. Are there any potential risks?
4. Any other things I need to take care as I am converting from L1B to H1B?
5. Also, my new H1B employer is a small consultancy compared to my current L1B MNC. Any advice related to this?

Any help will be appreciated.
