Does H1 transfer to new company give new I94

hi,I have shifted from company A to Company B and company B has filed my H1 transfer in july 2013 and I m waiting for the result.Next thing is My passport expires in first week of October 2013 and so my I94 also.
My question is if my H1 transfer is done. do I need to go out of US to extend my I94 once I get my new passport ?
If yes which will be best option to go as I have less time?

or with H1 transfer will I get new I94 .

Hmm, is your passport already expired or did you mean October 2014?

If a new H1 petition is approved as COS, it would have a new I-94 at the bottom.
