Am I required to register to do Selective Service Registraion during my Pending I-485 status because I am under 26? Thank you Link to comment

Even with the pending I-485, you don't need to register. Once you get the GC, you are required to register if you are male and not yet 26 years old. Link to comment

Based on your reply it seems so but just double checking! It is not really an official status. It isn't spelled out in the law. But a person with a pending I-485 is legal, and not yet an immigrant, and that's what matters for Selective Services. Anybody who isn't an immigrant doesn't have to register. Link to comment
