Niveda
I am residing in India currently. I have tourist visa valid from 2009 to 2019 and I have been to US twice for 2 weeks and 3 weeks. Now I have applied for H1B visa . The question is If i go for visa stamping and if the stamping gets rejected will my tourist visa gets revoked too as my visa stamping for H1B got rejected? Thank you. Link to comment
pontevecchio
They will in all likelihood leave the tourist visa alone whatever else happens. Link to comment
Tjgarla
It is at the discretion of the officer. You can't have 2 different non immigrant visas that are active at the same time. Link to comment

Actually, a person can have multiple visas just fine. A person can only use one visa to enter the US in a particular status, but having multiple valid visas is absolutely ok. In fact, I had a valid B1/B2 visa during all the time I had an H1 visa. Link to comment
