What to expect next?

I got my I-140 approved after RFE....phewwwww...and now a big hope :-). My priority date under EB3 is March 2005 and I-485 is pending. Since date has become current, Do I/lawyer need to do anything to port the date such as writing a letter to USCIS to port date? How do I know my dates has been ported? What do I expect now - another medical test, Proof of offer letter from employer (EB2), continuation of status (EAD cards)? 

Please help me understand next step so that I am better prepared.
