Health Insurance for parents with GC

Hi 

 

Parents received GC this year. They intend of spending 4 months in India every year.

 

I had a few questions regarding their health insurance --

 

1. I realize they can get insurance through the exchange. Are they eligible for subsidies? Their income in India is less than $15K

 

2. They are not eligible for NJFamilyCares - Medicaid program because they have had their GC for less than 5 years. Are there other programs they will be eligible for which provides subsidized health plans for new immigrants?
