COS I94 issue

Hi All,

 

passport expiry date : 16th march 2015

I94 last date : 16th march 2015.

H1 petition valid until October 2016.

 

I came on H4 to USA  and i got H1 in October 2013 . So i had Change of Status from H4 to H1 while in USA.

 

My doubt is , 

can i extend my I94 while i am in USA . or should i have to go to India for stamping with my new passport. 

 

Please let me know.

Renew your passport and then exit and enter with a valid H1B visa and I797.
