Question Part #1: Citizenship option to pick- Perm Resident 5 years or married to US citizen

I become a perm resident in March 2006 (marriage to us citizen). We are still happily married and living together. I am in a dilemma about the option to pick in Part #1, as I satisfy both the options.

 

Option 1: lawful perm resident for 5 years.

Option 2: Perm resident for 3 years. Married and living with same US citizen for past 3 years.

 

Option 2 requires more documentation so I am leaning towards option 1.  Do you foresee any problems with going with Option 1?

 

Any insights will be appreciated.

If you have been a Permanent Resident for 5 years, either way is fine. There is no issue.
