194 renewal at Matamoros/brownsville expierence please

Hi,

 

I am in US on H1B stamped from Chennai, India. My I94 is expiring on Oct2014 due to passport expiry. Visa is valid till Nov 2015.

 

I got my new passport and planning to go to Matamoros next weekend by road (I am in San Antonio, TX so I guess Matamoros is the right option. Please correct if I am wrong).

 

It would be great if someone can share their recent experience about this location. I would expect some help around -

 

> Timings

> Parking

> Some directions

> Any other things to note

Hi,

Can you please share your experience? Are you able to get new I94 at Matamoras?

 

Because of gap in employment my H1 transfer may come with no I94 and I would then need to go out of USA to get a new I94.

i'm not sure about Matamoros.

But last friday i went from Dallas to San Diego and got my i-94 extended at San Yisdro border.

I am in different siatuation when my spouse needs I-94 renewal. Can you please email me the process you carried out for I-94 at brownsville. Is that something we can walkin and get it done, what documents needs to be carried out.
