Filing I-485 with I140 receipt notice

Looking for an expert advice - My Eb2 I140 got approved today in premium processing. Rest all documents are ready to file on 30th of June for 485 filing. Do I need to wait for the hard copy of approval notice to arrive or it can be filed with the receipt notice too? 

I already have my approved EB3 I140 copy from previous employer and this time I got my eb3 date ported to my EB2 and it is getting current on July 1.

I am in similar situation , would you mind sharing your experience and if you filled using receipt # only and got PD ported/retained.

Sorry if this response is too late for your situation. Yes you can file for 485 with a reciept copy if you havnt recieved your copy of approval. Just make sure you write a cover letter explaining why you are filling with a reciept copy
