Hi All,

I have applied for a new H1B Visa this year. I was in india at the time of applying for it. But now I am in Canada for a longer period. Is it possible to stamp H1B in canada if I get selected in the lottery? Or is it mandatory to go back to India to do stamping? Kindly note, its a fresh H1B.

Thanks

Jith

If you are in Canada on a long term visa then you can.

Thanks! One small confusion? I have already applied for H1B when I was in India this April. For that one also I can go here for stamping if I get selected in lottery right?

OR Only the visa which applied when I am in canada only relevant to stamp from the U S consulate here in Canada?

If you have any valid H1B petition then you can go for H1B stamping in Canada.
