varma12345
Hi all, My wife and I plan to go to Canada for our Canadian PR landing process. Not knowing about the AVR (auto visa revalidation) rule, we booked a H1B visa appointment at a consulate in Canada i.e. filled up DS-160, paid the fees and booked an appointment. Now, as my wife is pregnant, we would rather not stay 1 week or however long it takes to get the visa stamping. Do you know if it is possible to cancel the visa appointment and use AVR instead? Do not attend the interview, that's it. Moreover by cancelling the appointment you can't get the fee back. Link to comment
varma12345
Thank you, rahul412. I understand we can't get the refund of the visa fee. We'll go ahead and use AVR. Link to comment
