B2 visitor visa rejected for in-laws

Hi,

My friends in-laws b2 visa was rejected. his wife is the only daughter. They asked how many kids and when did she(friends wife) came to US. Basically within 8 months difference they went for a B2 visa and she being the only daughter the visa was rejected. 

 

1. So what would be the best answer I they ask these questions again.

2. Is it ok if the go to the same consulate or is it preferred to go to a different consulate.

She seems really needy if she cannot be away from her parents for even 8 months. 

 

The ONLY answer is the truth. If they cannot do so, they should NOT apply. Their LIES will be detected.

Why is that even a question???

And all consulates are the same.

 

They need to show a strong connection to their home country. That's what the officers look for.

But they haven't told any LIES to the consulate, My only question was what we need to done in such cases when applying again.
