OPT Eligibilty

Hello,

 

I am a currently a Masters student at Purdue university. I did my undergrad at Penn State after which i applied for OPT. I then chose to go to grad school instead of looking for job. I am currently in my second masters program. I did first master in Computer graphics Tech and then went directly for  a second masters in Computer Science. Both are STEM eligible. 

 

My question is if I can apply for OPT. While I have used the OPT for undergrad I still haven't applied for an OPT at graduate level since I decided to move to a second Masters degree directly upon completion of the first.

If you have not applied for OPT in your 1st master's degree you are eligible for OPT now.
