USCIS timeline for J1 waiver?

How long does it generally take for the USCIS to approve J1 waiver these days? Any idea?

Hi Pal,

 

This is the timeline for my J1 waiver:

December 31, 2013 - filed DS-3035 and sent supporting documents
January 22, 2014 - DOS received my application, fees and all other documents and updated it into the system
January 29, 2014- DOS received NOS from Indian embassy in D.C.
March 10, 2014 - favorable recommendation from DOS
March 17, 2014 - USCIS received recommendation from DOS (got receipt in mail on march 20)
April 1, 2014 - USCIS approved my J1 waiver
April 4, 2014 - received i797 notice of J1 waiver approval in mail

As per my knowledge you can just see the status of your case on USCIS website. Typically they send I797 notice of approval in mail.
