Hi,

I had my H1B's first stamping in Chennai, India in 2007 and came to US in 2008. After that, I never went out of US till now.

I have I-140 approved and also recently got my H1B 7th year extension for 3 years.

I am planning to go to India sometime soon.

I am working the following model:

    Employer - Vendor - Client

I have following questions:

a.  I am living in Texas so I am planning to go to Matamorous, Mexico as it is close. Do you have any suggestions on this consulate?

b. When I go for H1B stamping, do I need to carry I-140 document with me?

c. I am carrying end Client letter. Do I need to carry the PO or Agreement between my employer and Vendor ?

Any suggestions will help me a lot.

Thanks,

Kris14

A) All Consulates are same.

b) Yes you need to carry along necessary documents and that includes I-140 original copy.

c) Good you have client letter. I doubt it you will get the PO easily , however you can always get the vendor letter.

I was in Matamoros accompynying my girl friend who is on H1b visa. We contacted Salvador who picked us from the hotel in Brownsville and took us to ASC for finger printing and then to his hotel. Next day we had visa interview and he dropped us back in US. He is a rotaty club member and been doing this for free of charge and his service to the community is commendable. I strongly recommend people to go to his website and use his service and stay at his hotel in Matamoros.
