H1B Ammendment process time and cost

Hi -

At the time of filing my H1 i am with client X. When my H1 got approved in October i am with Client Y. But my employer forgot to file new LCA or H1B ammendment.

When i asked him to file new LCA and ammendment he said it costs around 7000$ and 1-2 months processing time.

 

Can anyone tell me how much does it cost to file H1B ammendment (if possible both premium and regular) and the processing time?

H1 amendment is nothing but a new H1. So its the same fee amount for filing any H1.

Amendment is employer's job, why are you concerned about the fee.

Frist of all you don't need to concern about money and H1B fee varies depends up on size of the company. 

 

Make sure all pays stubs are in "client x" state only because at "client y" LCA and amendment have not yet raised.
