Hi,

I need a J-1 waiver in order to apply for H-1B. However I am sure I won't have my J-1 waiver issued by DOS before H1B quota runs out. I have expecting a DOS will issue a waiver sometime in July. Can I still apply for H1B. Has anyone else has prior experience like this before? Is it possible to file an amendment to the H1B petition after it has been applied? What are the chances petition getting rejected?.
Any advice/info/suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
