lost_immigrant Posted February 22, 2012 Report Share Posted February 22, 2012 hello all, I was working for part time when i was doing my masters and was given a ticket for selling beer to underage person..the case was cleared and I also have clearance letter from the court...im about to go for my h1 stamping ..will that effect my stamping decision by any chance?..im going to vancouver..are there any cases like mine who got the visa stamped?..any suggestions/answers would be greatly appreciated thanks Link to comment
rasheed1011 Posted February 22, 2012 Report Share Posted February 22, 2012 quick question..... r u allowed to work at liquor store while studying MS? check with attorney ; thats voilation there itself . it can be a major issue if you have to mention during interview or DS160 filling .... selling it to underage person is secondary issue. Vinayprirajin84 Posted February 23, 2012 Report Share Posted February 23, 2012 100% ur in trouble u may need to look for different country try to avoid f1 or Applying for h1 again as its criminal offense and it will be there on ur record ...how come u work in liquor store on f1 that's first offense and then 2nd u sell beer to under age thats other .!??? How come u did not mention. This on ds -160 criminal offense??? Plz plan for alternatives now on I doubt ur case Link to comment
