MrZeal, did you receive your approval in mail yet? I am a new H1B and so should I be waiting for my decision to arrive in mail before I can resume to work. Link to comment

I am a new H1B and so should I be waiting for my decision to arrive in mail before I can resume to work. No, yet to receive the approval but I came to know from my employer that I got only 1 year extension irrespective of my I-140 being approved and that sucks! Link to comment

However, on receipt notice, notice date was dated 9/27/11. 10/6/11: Status changed to "Approved" (Lawyer received update via email and i check with receipt number) 10/12/11: Hiring firm received hardcopy of approval notice in the mail Currently waiting to receive documents before i can go to the US Embassy in my home country, Link to comment
