Received approval of my H1b petition- start date is September 1 2017. My employer adjusted my start date to October 16 as I wanted to take vacation prior to starting job. I am leaving to India on August 14 will be going for H1 B visa stamping and returning on October 9. Will it be an issue for visa stamping to start job on October 16 as my petition date says Sep 1st or will have any problem at the port of entry ? Please guide. My hospital will be giving me a letter stating my start date of job is October 16 th 2017 Link to comment
