I have a valid extension petition till 6th Jan 2018. But, the actual stamped visa is expired. My wife is here with me on H4 and she has valid stamped visa till 6th Jan 2018. Can my wife travel to India for vacation and come back to USA without stamping while I stay in USA? After my wife travel to India if I go for amendment (For client and location transfer. Moved to CA last week) will it affect my wife's traveling back to USA while my amendment is in progress? Thanks in advance! Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted July 19, 2017 Report Share Posted July 19, 2017 I suspect the rule is that you are allowed to notify the USCIS and then keep working in the new place. Hence your Souse should be able to return on the existing H4 visa. Run this by HR/Immigration team. Link to comment
