H1B Extension - Receipt not Received even after 3 months

Hi,

This is Hema. My employer filed my H1B extension on April 10th 2017. It is been more than 3 months and my employer did not receive the receipt yet. Does anyone knows how long it is going to take to get the receipt? Did any one apply for H1B extension in April and got the receipt?
