aishwaya Posted July 12, 2017 Report Share Posted July 12, 2017 I am an international student and came to USA on F1 visa , Recently i got graduated from an Accredited university and my opt began from june 28 2017 , i got a job offer from a start up company but my employer wants me to be "Self-Employed" and work on "1099" . I dnt know if international students on OPT-EAD can be self employed and work on 1099. If i work on 1099 will there be any problem during my OPT-Extension? or during H1B ?
