kumar2018 Posted July 9, 2017 Report Share Posted July 9, 2017 Hi, I am with company A for 8 years and my PD is in 2011 for my application submitted with roles as Admin/Engineer (technical). I got a new opportunity in the same company as Architect with more than 80% change of job roles (still technical - But towards Architect rather than Engineer). In this case: 1. Do I have start all over GC process..? 2. If Yes for question 1, will by Priority Date be ported towards my new GC process..? ---- 3. As the roles/duties have changed so significantly, Do we have to refile for H1B with the updated roles. 4. If the the new roles are addition to the existing roles, can this whole process be skipped altogether..? Thanks, Kumar Link to comment

The company will decide based on lawyer opinion. Why are you getting anxious? In any case the original I-140 will still be valid. Link to comment
