Alternate to OCI, suggest please

Hi,

Me and my wife on H1B and our 6 months old baby is US Citizen. We are planning to visit India in 1st week of August and now we don't have sufficient time to apply and get OCI card. We are planning to stay in India for 3 months (that is return end of October).

Could you please suggest the alternates to OCI? I read e-Visa or Visa on arrival. But it says maximum stay is 60 days! I am planning to apply OCI as soon as we return back to US.

Please help me here with all possible alternates to OCI.

Use Visa on Arrival facility provided for US Citizens. You would need to fill some paperwork online, 3 days prior to your departure.

Thanks a lot shyrap1. I read it's valid for only 60 days. Is that correct? We are going to stay for 3 months in India. Aug to Oct.
