Can i keep the Indian citizenship and US both? I knew after naturalization process i have to apply for the new US passport and hand over the old passport to Indian consulate. And i have to get OCI card or visa or POI card to visit India is this correct? Thank you! Appreciate your response. Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted June 30, 2017 Report Share Posted June 30, 2017 INDIA prohibits Dual Citizenship. You lose Indian Citizenship when you Naturalize here. You can get a 10 year visitors visa for India or you can use PIO/OCI whatever is current now. PLEASE understand Overseas Citizen Of India is just a flim flam as you are not a Citizen of India.
