OPT to CPT

Hello,

I am currently employed with a reputed firm as contractor, my OPT expires on June 30th. I have applied to another university to continue my education, and they will give me CPT starting July 10. What are my options to stay away from risks ?

• Shall I take leave/vacation from 1 July - 10 July ?
• Shall I continue working ?

Thanks for helping me in clearing my queries. 

Note: I didn't get my H1 picked this year. I have applied for sevis transfer on July 1 to my new university.

No real university gives out CPT from day one. Only fraud institutions do.

What you are trying is abuse of CPT. It will kill your future in the US.
