Sajusherief
I got my H4 visa stamped in march 2016 and once travelled to US in the same. In April 2017 I got my H1b visa stamped ! Is it possible for me to travel in H4 now when there is a valid H1b stamped ? Would it have got cancelled automatically when I got my H1b stamped ? Link to comment
pontevecchio
It is possible for you to use the valid H4 visa to enter. Link to comment
JoeF
A person can have multiple visas. You can use either one of the visas to enter in the status that corresponds to the visa. I.e., if you present the H4 visa to enter, you'd be in H4 status. If you present the H1 visa to the officer, you would be entering in H1 status. Link to comment
Sajusherief
Thank you for the reply folks. But, is there any way that I can check if my H4 is cancelled? I can't imagine to find out from the immigration officer that my H4 is cancelled. In my passport there is no seal or anything which says that the visa is cancelled. Link to comment
JoeF
It is canceled if there is a stamp on it that says so. Link to comment
