Adisharma
Hello, I've been to the Mumbai Consulate for my F1 (2012) and H1-B (2015) stamping. In 2016, I returned to India. Now I'm applying for a B2 visa to visit the US as a tourist. I see that the Hyderabad consulate is showing an appointment available in 11 days, while the Mumbai office has the earliest available date in 23 days. As a resident of Madhya Pradesh, I want to know if I can apply to the Hyderabad consulate. The last page of DS-160 asks for the office that I want to submit my application to. A customer service rep from the USA Travels Docs website said that I can submit the DS-160 to Mumbai and choose & appear for the appointment in Hyderabad. However, on the site where you pay the fee and book appointment, I'm not shown an option to pick a location. Mumbai is getting pre-populated in that application. That's the cause for all the confusion. Appreciate any tips for tackling this issue. Link to comment
lovely
I would recommend to wait for 10 more days and go to Mumbai consulate which is your default one. Link to comment
