kumar@9
I am from the state of AP and used permanent address from that state in waiver form. My father lives at that address now. For the next of kin address in the same form, I gave my brother's address in Tamil Nadu. After getting forms approved at local Indian embassy, I came across few online blog posts which mentioned that their respective state departments (with permanent address) gave some trouble regarding clearance (apparently asked them to send forms to the state in next of kin address). Can anyone give their experience or suggestion regarding this situation. I haven't sent documents to India yet and am willing to get new forms from Indian consulate with father name and address in next of kin address rather than getting clearance delayed. Link to comment
Dreams2017
Hi, We had a similar situation. and ultimately we got NORI from the state where our next of kin was. Please do that beforehand as we were denied from Delhi wherein we have stayed since 20 years. It took them 4 months. Finally had to apply for Bihar home department to get it done. All the best Link to comment
