valentine143
I am in India on an emergency purpose... I am travelling back this month. Right now I am on OPT-STEM ( first year) and recently started with OPT on April. I have the following document... ( no client and looking for job opportunities) 1. Valid designated Travel I-20 from UCM university 2. Valid F-1 visa, Valid Indian Passport 3. Employer offer letter ( No Client letter and employer letter-- My employer is saying they never provided employer letter and should be okay with offer letter) 4. Pay Stubs --> No pay-stubs so far 5. Valid OPT card(17 months & 7 months) Please suggest if it is safe to return back without any immigration issue??? Link to comment

You might get lucky but better be prepared to handle any situation. Link to comment
immigrationproblem
It's worth trying. I've re-entered US twice on OPT and all they look at is EAD card and valid I-94 status, but I could just be lucky. There is a risk that they will deny entry if you can't provide documents when they ask for it. Link to comment
