bhabanig
Hello friends, Need an urgent guidance. Currently I have an approved I-797 from my previous client ,which will expire on July-2018. 2 months back,I joined new client at different location with same employer. As per my lawyer, I have to apply new H1B petition soon again since I changed client. I am going to file new petition on 1st week of June. My question : Can I go for VISA stamping with my old approved I-797 ? or do I have to wait till my new petition to be approved ? If anybody has faced similar situation,Please guide me. Appreciate your help. Regards Bhabani Link to comment

bhabanig
Thank you Gopala. Since, there is no premium processing. I believe H1B extension will take time. Can I take my new receipt number as a proof of new amendment processing and go for stamping with old approved I-797 and old LCA with all the necessary documents including client letter from my current client ? Will there be any issue ? Thanks in advance. Link to comment
