Neo1777 Posted May 16, 2017 Report Share Posted May 16, 2017 My current STEM OPT ends on July 7th, I haven't heard any news on my H1B petition(unlucky on 3rd time as well),what happens if my H1b application is still in 'Filed' Status after July 7th in my case,Can I work until I wait for my rejection packet to arrive,because previous two years i received my rejected in lottery notice's on July 20th and July 26th respectively. Please recommend. You need to stop working on July 7th. If your application gets picked, then you can apply for cap-gap I-20 and then continue working. Link to comment
