pritiarya
My mother just got her B2 Visitor visa renewed. While taking a picture of the visa a piece of cello tape got stuck to it and in the process of removing the same, a couple of numbers on the bottom-most strip on the visa page have become faint (we can still read the number though). Worried whether the visa won't be able to be validated by the scanning machine at the airport. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Visa was renewed at the Mumbai Consulate via Interview Waiver less than a month ago. Link to comment
Shurap1
I would take the passport back to consulate and get it validated from them. They will take appropriate action if needed. Link to comment
pontevecchio
You should contact ustraveldocs by email and maybe describe what happened and ask for guidance as to whether a new visa is required. Contact details are in the Consulate website. Link to comment
