Valid Visa but I-94 expiry

Hi,

Can anyone help me for this situation. I have valid Visa till Dec 2017 but my I-94 is going to expiry on Aug 2017. Can i stay in US in this case.

if yes then is it i have to extend the I-94 or i can stay in US with valid Visa which is valid till Dec 2017.
