B2visa for parents in faraway state instead of nearby state

Hello everyone,

My husband is currently on H1B visa. We want to invite my husband's parents to USA for the tourism purpose. They were living in Telangana & before 3 years they moved to Gujarat. They are going to Telangana very soon to visit relatives and to attend some function. So, we are planning to send them to Hyderabad for visitor VISA stamping.

We are going to apply visitor visa for parents for the first time. So, I have few questions about their visa process.

1. Will visa officer raise the question- why not going to near by US embassy like in mumbai, instead of coming to Hyderabad?

2. Will they be able to choose the native language Gujarati or Hindi for the interview process?

Invitations have no bearing on the tourist visa. Let them start the application with their Gujarat Address and if they are allowed to choose Hyderabad then there is no problem. You can pay for the trip if you want.
