L1A EB1 closed foreign entity

Hi,

I am on L1A visa as a manager in the US.

Unfortunately the foreign entity where I worked is no longer doing regular business/service.

1. Now can my employer apply GC for me under EB1? If not, is EB2 possible.

2. Can the employer now apply for L1 blanket extension as it is expiring soon.
