rahul_jais
My i-94 has expired on 1-13-2017 and H1-B extension was applied on 11-18-2016. Currently extension approval is pending (as of 4/30/2017). I want to now change employer. 1) New employer files for H1-B and I join that company after receiving the H1-B receipt. If my old employer withdraws extension will it affect my current H1-B status as I-94 expired in January. 2) If the new H1-B petition is not approved by 240 days from I-94 expiry will it affect my current status ? Do I have to leave USA in this case? Link to comment
pontevecchio
An extremely complicated situation facilitated by political idiots. You should join B if they are better for you and let the future go where it will. A Lawyer may help guide you in these uncertain times. Best of luck. Link to comment

pontevecchio
I did not think the answer was so complicated. Join B. If A withdraws the H1 extension then B's H1 will be approved for CP. Is it so difficult to get a Lawyers Guidance? The problem is because there is no PP and normal processing is taking a long time. Link to comment
