ashish_90
I am on H1B visa. Its expiring on June 2017.My employer has filled H1B extension and its under normal processing. I would like to invite my parents on B2 visa for 3 months duration. My father is a Teacher and Self Employed Farmer. He is getting retired on 31May 2017. I am planning to take Parents Visa interview date in May 2017 (Before Retiretment Date). Property - My father has farm ,own house and lands in India. Family background - I have one sister and she is married, settled in India. My mother is Housewife. In DS160 form=> work/education/training section => Primary occupation what option i need to select for primary occupation to avoid rejection ? My parents are planning to go back to India after 3 months visit to USA. How can i show strong ties to India in DS160 ?? Below are possible options i am seeing for work/education/training section to how strong ties to India If I select Retired option then he can show Retirement letter during interview saying that I am getting retired on 31May 2017. I am thinking Retired option will become weak case for my parent visitor visa approval because i can't show My father farm/land property in DS160 which will make strong ties to India If I select Education=>Teacher option then my father can't get NOC letter due to retirement date. He will have employment letter to show during interview. Can i choose Primary Occupation => Other option and mention Teacher and Self Employed Farmer so that i can write all Farm/House/Land details in Other => specify text box in DS160 ?? Link to comment
